Description

The Spur OWB is my play on a popular tunnel & slot style folded holster pattern. The belt tunnel behind the firearm’s center of mass is reinforced with a ridge of leather to keep it from expanding and becoming loose on your belt. The slot under the grip pulls the grip of the firearm into the body, helping with concealment, and also maintains a forward cant, allowing for a more natural draw, when carried practically anywhere on the hip. The Spur OWB does not have a body shield, allowing the wearer access to the safety on the draw.

This Spur OWB holster is specifically built for a government model 1911- 5″ barrel, no rail, traditional slide, traditional trigger guard, iron sights and traditional government frame. It is full grain Hermann Oak Veg-tanned steer, with the main body hand dyed in my pooled mahogany, black Reinforcement Panel with Wings Of Icarus hand tooling texture, stitched with chestnut thread, and submersion sealed with an acrylic clear coat. It is built with a standard 12° forward cant, and with a belt tunnel and slots to fit securely to a standard 1.5″ gun-belt.

This holster will not accomodate optics, suppressor height sights or a threaded barrel.
